I just released a BlueCurve icon pack for ReMOSitory 3.22. This release modifies a few of the default icons and adds over a dozen others. There is also a change to one of the ReMOSitory files to allow 32x32 icons rather then the puny 16x16 ones. You can preview and download the iconpack in the downloads section.

Image With the recent migration to Joomla!, it was only natural that I converted MamboCurve as well. This template is currently available for download, only from this site. A MamboCurve version will be created in the next few days.

Consolidation of Websites

E-mail Print PDF
I recently consolidated 2 of my main websites ( tleone.com and mambocurve.com ). There were a couple of reasons for this change. It was getting increasingly difficult to keep both sides updated, and I wanted to consolidate my traffic into one site. This should garner more exposure for both sites. Visitors of both sites have probably noticed the change in content, and this is why.

Both domain names now point to this single site. With the recent migration to Joomla, I have also grabbed joomlacurve.com which will start pointing here any day now as well. I plan to release my first JoomlaCurve branded template with the next release of MamboCurve.

Migration to Joomla!

E-mail Print PDF
ImageLast night, I converted this site and the development site to Joomla! 1.0.2. For those of you not in the know, the original development team working on Mambo CMS left and formed Joomla!. The current version of Joomla! is nearly identical to Mambo 4.5.2 and currently just about every template, module, component etc are currently compatible with either. My choice to go with Joomla over Mambo was purely speculative, as I suspect Joomla will garner more support.

10/02 - MamboCurve updated to four-beta

ImageAfter a busy past few months of working on paying jobs, I finally got around to getting the latest version ready for release. The biggest change is the library used for draggable windows. This new script appears to work equally well in both IE and Mozilla. I haven't tested it under anything else. As usual, if you discover any bugs, please let me know.

Welcome to MamboCurve

E-mail Print PDF
MamboCurve is an experiment to see how closely I can mimic the look and feel of Bluecurve.  Bluecurve is a theme that was introduced by Red Hat and comes bundled with their Linux Distro, it is also available with their Fedora Core project.

I am not a Linux user at all, but I became a big fan of Bluecurve when it was ported to Windows XP to use as a theme (shellstyle).  Shortly after, I themed my personal site, www.tleone.com to BlueCurve as well.  You can see that older version of my site here.

Earlier this year I migrated my site to Mambo as it was becoming harder to maintain and I was outgrowing the layout as I wanted to add more content.  Since migrating to Mambo, I’ve become motivated to create my own template and that’s where we are today.
